Bamboo theaters are once celebrated craft to Chinese because of their significance as a ritual space. Driven by the traditional method, the pavilion aims at using bending-active structure to resemble particular spatial experience in bamboo theaters. Real-time physics engine - Kangaroo is used to derive the form of the pavilion. I was involved in the early design stage and this project was realized and built in 2016.
